I had a bad day, so I thought I'd run it off...and boy did I!

When I started it was day light, and a little warm. I had on shin length pants and a tank top.
When I finished, brrr! lol I
t was also dark out, I have always been large in size 6'2, and over 200lbs. As I get closer and closer to ONEderland (sub 200lbs) I have become more afraid of the dark. I was on a busy trail, that was well lit, but... I'll be more careful about the hours next time.

Thursday-day
I did 1 mile in less than 11mins this am.
I walked 4.5miles in 1:10:00 hours this afternoon.
I was not feeling well and decided not to do my evening run, but I did do the walk...and realized that one of my favorite stores is with in walking distance. :)

This is hardly satisfactory, but it was completed and I am satisfied. I now have a time and distance to improve upon.

Setting a Schedule is easy...its sticking to it thats tough
ARe you a list maker? I am. I have lists and lists of things I've got to do, but its amazing how other things get in the way. (like that dust bunny you've been avoiding all week long, you really want to clean it now!)
I'm going to stick to my list/schedule this time.

Fans on the Field-results
Sunday, October 10th, 2010 was a chilly day... especially at 8am.
I ran this race with a few friends and coworkers which was nice.
I had hoped to finish this race in about 1:30:00.
I finished 1:27:08 !!! Hooray
The race was sold out and there was a lot of confusion.
5k'rs started the race at the same time as the 10k'rs
and there was a bumble at a mile into the race...this was super frustrating!
The line for the bbq and beer were outragous! There didnt seem to be enough volunteers. They ran out of post race snacks (banana's, yogurt). They ran out of post race gift bags.
Yikes!
I had a good time, but that is because I always have a good time.
Special note: When I go out on an hour run... I need nutrition. I'm on a very low calorie diet and my intake needs to be suitable to the work out. At about an hour into the race I should have had nutrition. I will remember this.
